Hello Scientists and Parents,

UPDATE as of Monday 10/21/2019:

Our reservation for tomorrow’s trip to the Spanel Planetarium has been changed to 3:30pm – 4:30 pm. I hope this does not cause any problems, but we decided to push back the start time so the students coming after 4th period can get to the show on time.  Parking is not close and is new for most of us, and we would like a little cushion, just in case we need some extra time navigating the area.

We do have a lot of ZLO students coming. The price per student will only be $6 to cover parking and the show. I am so happy so many of the students are coming.

We have reservations at the Spanel Planetarium at Western Washington University to watch From Earth to the Universe on Tuesday the 22nd of October from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. There will be a cost of hopefully under $10 a piece if we can get a few more people to join us. The Middle School Science class will be leaving ZLO at 1:00 pm, and doing some touring of WWU and the art around the campus before the show. I do need at least one other parent to drive.

This invitation is be extended to all ZLO students and families so we may have a few more coming at 1:00 pm. The show was reserved for 3:00 pm, so other students who have a 4th period class also have the opportunity to come.

Hopefully we can identify some carpool opportunities at 3:00 pm, if needed.

Please contact Heather Hadfield if you want to attend, and also let her know if you are willing to provide transportation.
