Once in a while, homework can be fun! We are learning about the early years of the United States in American History, and we recently finished a unit on Colonial America. Everyone picked a colony to research and then they packaged what they learned into a colorful and creative travel brochure for their colony. They all seemed to really enjoy the project. (At least, they’re all smiling for the picture.) We’ll have the brochures on display for the Open House later in the year so you can get a closer look, but they all did a great job. Now, if I could only I could think of more fun homework assignments…
