Ready, set, go! And just like that, the summer holiday draws to a close and classes are a mere “two sleeps” away!

Some of you may have received emails from your teachers with a list of supplies necessary for your course(s). If you have not, you are encouraged to contact them to find out what is needed for the first day. At the very least, students should come with pen/pencil and paper. All are eager to engage with their students and are looking forward to the year ahead!

If you are unsure of how to connect with your instructor(s), please email Deanna Kangas, and she will get you their contact information right away.

When you arrive: If this is your first year at ZLO, we will have a parent or instructor ready to direct you to the correct classroom and answer questions, or help you find the answers! A couple of classrooms have been moved downstairs. Classes with Mrs Hadfield and Dr. Mangum are now located down the hall from Mrs. Likkel.

Returning families: *We would love to have a parent or two help direct new families at the beginning of each period. Thank you!

Lunch: We’ll have tables set up in Study Hall (church sanctuary) and a microwave available. Students are not permitted to use the church kitchen without adult supervision.

When the weather is nice, a parent or teacher may volunteer to take kids outside for some fresh air and play. Students may not be outside without a supervisor.

Dress Code: The weather is going to be quite warm for at least the first week of classes, and we do have a dress code. Please click here to review our policy.

Classes Begin Tuesday, 9/3!
