In the life of any organization, change is inevitable. This is especially true when that organization is responsible for helping parents educate their children. They grow up so quickly, and what was once a new adventure suddenly becomes another phase of life completed.

That time has come for two of our board members, and we would be remiss if we did not thank them for their contributions.

Heather Kelly spent many years overseeing ZLO’s dollars, and has given countless hours to ensure our financial stability. We are appreciative of her faithfulness in helping keep the lights on in some of our darkest years.

Lisa Redding has also departed from our board, and will be greatly missed. She challenged us to understand complex issues from multiple perspectives, and always with a smile.

We wish Heather and Lisa all the best apart from ZLO. As you look back on your time with us, please know that our achievements would not have been possible without your counsel and advice.

Bethany Pellerin has joined the board as our new treasurer – a natural extension of her duties this past year as bookkeeper. We are grateful that she has stepped into this role and made the logistical transition seamless. We offer Bethany a hearty welcome and a thousand thanks.

There is still room for additional board members. If you are interested in helping serve in the governance of our little community, let’s have a chat.
