Mrs. Pellerin was inspired to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher by her high school history teacher Mrs. Macri. Mrs. Macri was a teacher that not only taught but cared deeply for her students. She made the classroom a place of learning, fun and community.
Mrs. Pellerin graduated from the University of Maine with B.A. in Elementary Education. She began her teaching career in 1998 at Penobscot Christian school teaching as a classroom teacher for 3rd and 4th grade.
She homeschooled all three of her children, Isaiah, Elijah and Hannah. She taught classes to many homeschool students in her home. She has also taught Sunday school classes, and served as the Director of Children’s Ministry.
Mrs. Pellerin has been involved with ZLO for several years as her children attended classes, as a member of the PTO, the ZLO board and along with her husband Peter, as bookkeeper. She is now ready and excited to step into the new role as the Elementary English Instructor.
