UPDATE: March 11, 2020
Yesterday, the Whatcom County Health Department declared a state of emergency and advised the cancelling of all non-essential public gatherings of 10-50+ people. Out of an abundance of caution, and because we fall into that number, we are following their advice and are going to postpone our Information Night. We expect that we will reschedule this informational event sometime in May.
If you were planning to attend, or have questions about classes for your homeschooled child, please contact our director, Molly Crocker, by using our Contact Form (click here).
As we learn more about the prevention and spread of COVID-19, we will communicate with you regarding any further schedule changes if they become necessary. Please pray for those who are sick and the doctors leading the effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
As Christians, we are not called to be a people of fear. 2 Timothy 1:6-9 reminds us of this, and Philippians 4:4-9 tells us how to focus our thoughts and respond. “We know that fear may be rising around us, but let’s remember to trust in Jesus, use our wisdom, and wash our hands!” – (@ccfministry on instagram)
Wondering what options are out there for homeschooling families, maybe yours, for help in key subjects, or maybe to just connect with other homeschoolers?
Maybe you’ve heard about Zacchaeus Learning Opportunities and wonder if it would fit your family’s needs?
We invite you to this informational evening to learn how ZLO partners with and provides support to homeschooling families in Whatcom County.
Evening will include a brief presentation from our director about who we are and what we do. You will also have an opportunity to meet our teachers and a few of our families. Light refreshments will be available.
