UPDATE: March 12, 2020

No, it’s not an extended vacation!

Laurel Church membership is, at this time, mostly older people who are the most vulnerable to the worst effects of COVID-19. Laurel Church leadership has decided to close its building for the duration of run the virus.

Unless the Health Department recommends otherwise, ZLO will be meeting on Tuesday, March 17, at Laurel Church, and then not again until after Spring Break.

Your classes will continue! Your instructors will be telling you how to proceed with your classes on Tuesday.

What about after Spring Break?

We have agreed to discuss that with Laurel Church leadership on Wednesday of Spring Break (April 8, 2020) so look for the usual Friday newsletter then, and please read it carefully.

Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands! We will see you Tuesday, March 17, God willing.

Blessings,

Molly Crocker, ZLO Director

As we learn more about prevention of the spread of COVID-19, we will communicate with you regarding any further schedule changes if they become necessary. Please pray for those who are sick and the doctors leading the effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

As Christians, we are not called to be a people of fear. 2 Timothy 1:6-9 reminds us of this, and Philippians 4:4-9 tells us how to focus our thoughts and respond. “We know that fear may be rising around us, but let’s remember to trust in Jesus, use our wisdom, and wash our hands!” – (@ccfministry on instagram)
