The World History Classes have been traveling through time and space, visiting the world’s great landmarks.

To get a sense of the scope of world history, we looked at pictures of these famous landmarks and talked about when and where they were built. We started this year going over the “big picture”—what history is and what we’re studying when we study history (hint: everything ties into history somehow). History’s not just learning who did what and where, when, and how they did it. That’s the raw material, but we want to know why, too. The why is the really interesting part. And we’re just getting started.
